What Is Model UN?

Model United Nations (MUN) is a simulation of the United Nations where students take on the role of delegates representing countries, debating global issues and crafting diplomatic solutions — exactly as real UN delegates do.

But TheDaleMUN is more than just a conference. It is a year-round programme that builds the skills that matter most in the 21st century — skills that universities, employers and the world cannot get enough of.

Registration & Briefing
Schools and individual delegates register and receive their country/committee assignments

Research Phase
Students research their country's position and write a position paper

Conference Begins
Opening ceremony, committee sessions, speeches and debates begin

Resolution Drafting
Delegates negotiate, lobby and co-author resolutions to solve the agenda
